An additional two individuals are now in custody related to a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport in which 21 people sustained injuries by what is thought to be an irritant spray, according to law enforcement.
A man, 24, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area for suspected robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was detained on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. They both are still being held, authorities confirmed.
The arrests come after an investigation into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the incident, two women had stolen from them their suitcases after getting out of a parking garage elevator.
A three-year-old girl was one of the those hurt during the incident. Five people were taken to the hospital for treatment and were later discharged.
Police detained a man in his thirties for suspected robbery and assault close to the location. He has since been released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.
Police were called at approximately 08:10 GMT following reports of several people hurt by a noxious substance thought to be an irritant spray.
The assault - an event that authorities stated was a standalone incident and not considered an act of terror - caused delays to rail services and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking facility for a short time.
